Former Ivory Coast international Didier Drogba is reportedly nursing ambition of contesting the Country’s Football Federation presidency.
The ex Elephant captain reportedly want to challenge incumbent Augustine Sidy Diallo as president of the Ivory Coast Football Federation(IFF).
The country sport will undgo to the congress election which which shall elect new leaders of the Football Federation. The election is scheduled for November 2019.
According to reports ,the 41 yes old would relish taking up the role having hang up his boot.
Drogba recently joined the Confederation of African football(CAF) as an advise to president Ahmad Ahmad.
The Chelsea Champions league winner hold the legendary status in his country having played for Elephant for 12 years. He scored 65 goals in 105 appearance during his time.
