Believers in Jesus Christ have been urged to put their trust in the Lord so that he can help them throughout their lives. This was noted by the Bishop of Mukono Diocese the RT. Reverend Enos Kitto Kagodo, while preaching to the Christians at All Saints church Naggalama Parish, Bukoba Archdeaconry.

This was a special service for All Saints church as the new Bishop of Mukono Diocese started with moving around the church three times as a symbol of “okwawula ekkanisa”. In the same service, the Bishop confirmed 267 children.

In his sermon, Bishop Kagodo challenged Christians always to keep pondering about God as it is the only way that will help them desist from evil acts that goes against God’s teachings.

The Revrand for Naggalama Parish and principle for Glover Wilcox School of Mission and Evangelism  Nakanyonyi Revrand Asaph Mugabi has expressed his concern towards the Bishop for the challenges the church is going through such as small land that is not enough for the church and it’s activities. However he said that they are working hard to see that All Saints church overcomes all the challenges, and emerges the best in Bukoba Archdeaconry.

In her address to the congregation, the Bishops wife Catherine Kitto has argued the children who have been confirmed to put whatever teaching they have got in to practice, to help them walk in the right path that the Lord wants them to go through. She challenged them to change their lives for the good of their future, the fact that they have got more teachings from the word of God.

However, she has challenged mothers to go back to the drawing board and take full responbilities as mothers at home, so that they can shape their children to grow up responsibly. She said some mothers have abandoned their responsibilities  thereby raising irresponsible children, who in the long run  burden their parents.

At the same function, one of the Christians and Advocate Ntwatwa Jackson has shown concern over the increasing rate of untrust among couples which is leading to more DNA tests around the country. According to him, father’s in homes nolonger show enough love and caring during their wives which can be pointed at, as one of the reasons why women are nolonger unfaithful.

He cautioned men to take their full responsibilities as husbands in their couples and father’s in their homes so that they win their wives’ hearts back to them. He believes it will put things right.
