The Uganda Women National football U17 team begins their residential training at FUFA technical centre Njeru for the preparation of COSAFA Girls U17 championship to be held in Mauritius from 20th September 2019.
All the thirty machineries released squad are presented on the first day for the training and only twenty girls squad are to be selective for the final squad to represent Uganda in the COSAFA Girls U17 championship.
Ayub Kalifah the head coach of the Uganda National Women U17 team insisted on the training.
“we started our training today at FUFA technical centre Njeru for the Women National team U17 for the preparations of COSAFA Women tournament to be held on 20th,September 2019.
We are in residential camp with 30 players for the selection of 20 players for the final squad”, Ayub noted.
Uganda pitted in group A along with the host Mauritius, Zambia and Comoras.
Uganda will open up with a game against Zambia on 20th September 2019.
