The Highcourt judge sitting at Entebbe Jane Frances Abodo has set October 28 as a judgment day in the murder case against Godfrey Wamala Troy; a key suspect in the unlawful death of local musician Moses Ssekibogo aka Mowezey Radio.

The judge set the date on Wednesday after the summing up of the evidence in the case by the two court assessors as presented by the prosecution and defense lawyers.

The judge also explained that on that day before she reads her verdict, the assessors will first give their unbinding opinion advising court on whether to convict or acquit Troy.

Prosecution led by Joseph Kyomuhendo adduced evidence from 9 witnesses to testify that on January 22, 2018, at a famous hang out in Entebbe -Debar, Troy lifted up Mowzey Radio and banged him down causing him(Radio) to sustain a head injury which later cost his life on 1st/February 2018.

Basing on prosecution’s evidence, Justice Abodo ordered Troy to defend himself, who in turn also gave a sworn testimony denying the murder of Mowzey Radio.
