Uganda Senior Women’s National team, the Crested Cranes will face Tanzania’s Twiga Stars in an international friendly game.
The aforementioned game, organised by Kibo Media under the Nile Special brand will take place on Friday, 7th July 2023 at MTN-Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
The FUFA Executive Committee decided that there will be free entrance for fans.
With both teams preparing for the forthcoming Paris 2024 Women’s Olympic Football Tournament Qualifiers, this game will serve as a precursor.
Uganda will take on Rwanda while Tanzania faces Congo at the first qualification round.
The friendly game comes at the time when the world is gearing towards the 2023 FIFA Women’s World Cup that starts on 20th July 2023 in Australia and New Zealand.
