Deep End schools cricket gets two new members as the tournament set to bowl off.

As Mukono Cricket community on jinx to witness the third edition of Deep End schools tournament, the competition has received much spices with St Mary’s College Namagunga and Gayaza High School joining the event.

The tournament which has Mukono Kings High School and St Cornelius SS Kadugala as reigning winners in boys and girls is placed to bowl of 12 October 2024 at Namagunga.

This year’s tournament is have four girls and two boys team with boys category scheduled to be played on best of two series.

In the girls category round robin format shall be placed to find out the top two team which will qualify for the final.

Over the two weekends games shall be played at venues with Gayaza,  Namagunga and My St Henry’s Mukono blased to host gblased

Simon Kintu the Chairman of Mukono Cricket community and also the head of local organising committee confirmed that.

All preparations are done and participating teams have been training diligently, they are eager to perform at their best, 

Buildup games has been played and notably St Cornelius SS Kadugala and Mukono Kings got face off”

The tournament will climax on Sunday 20 October at Mt St Henry’s Mukono with Boys final and girls.

At the first edition , Jinja SS won the girls category while  Takajunge Community scooped the boys trophy.
