DENIS ONYANGO RETIRES FROM CRANES

After 16 years of incredible sservice, Uganda cranes best ever goal keeper Denis Masinde Onyango has officially retired from National duty football.

Onyango confirmed this on Monday evening 12th April 2021 by the player via his social media platforms.

“It is with heavy heart that I am announcing my retirement from international football .After much consideration, my family , managers and I decided it was in my best interest to hang my gloves on my beloved cranescranes, Big thanks to every. UgandaUgandan over the years”, Onyango noted.

Onyango also forwarded a letter to the FUFA boss Moses Magogo notifying him and federation about his decision.

” This letter represents my official notice of retirement from the Uganda National football teamteam, the cranes effective April 12 2021″.

It has been a great pleasure and honour to representrepresent my country and I will always appreciate the experience and knowledge that lhave gained while playing for the cranes

“I believe my notice period is sufficient enough for the technical team to adequately prepare my replacement for the upcoming matches. by remaining a true patriot and supporter of football in my beloved Uganda I wish you all the best in your future endeavours and challenges

TThe confirmaction comes after a few days after a leaked and by Onyango pinned Magogo of being selfiah and eating players money after the FUFA President made a statement last Monday that the players didn’t deserve to paid their allowances because they played shitty football at CHAN.
