Desabre unveiled at Egyptian club hours after quitting Cranes job

Egyptian club, Pyramids Football Club has unveiled Sebastien Desabre as their new coach, MS News uganda has learnt.
Desabre quit as Uganda Cranes coach on Saturday, only hours after the team’s exit from the African Nations Cup at the round of 16.

However, on Monday, the French tactician was unveiled at function graced by the Pyramids FC chairman Hossa Elbadry after signing a two year contract.

“Sebastien Desabre is our new coach. Welcome master,” the club posted on their twitter handle.

“I am very grateful for having joined Pyramids Football Club,”Desabre said during his unveiling.

A Sunday statement by the football governing body, FUFA indicated they had reached an agreement with the French tactician to terminate the contract between the two parties.

“The reasons for termination of the employment contract are for the benefit and growth of both parties,” FUFA said in a statement.

The 43 year old French man took over the job as the Cranes coach in December 2017 having joined from Egyptian giants Ismaily and by the time he quit, he had just spent one year and a half in charge of the Uganda national team.

Desabre has previously been in charge of ASEC Mimosas, CS Garoua, ES Tunis, Club Recreativo Desportivo Libolo, Dubai Club, JS Saoura , Wydad Athletic Club and Ismaily in Egypt from where he joined the Uganda national team where he has spent less than two years.
