Equal Opportunities Commission (EOC) is set to relocate its head offices to tycoon Sudhir Ruparelia’s new multibillion Kingdom Kampala Plaza in the heart of Kampala city.

EOC is a statutory body mandated to eliminate discrimination and inequalities against any individual or group of persons on the ground of sex, age, race, colour, ethnic origin, tribe, birth, creed or religion, health status, social or economic standing, political opinion or disability, and take affirmative action in favor of groups marginalised on the basis of gender, age, disability or any other reason created by history, tradition or custom for the purpose of redressing imbalances which exist against them, and to provide for other related matters.

The commission is currently located on Plot 7, Luthuli Close, Bugolobi, Kampala.

According to a best evaluated bidder notice that Kampala Post has seen, EOC has been seeking for a contractor to house them through an open bidding process and on October 10, 2019, the contract was awarded to Kingdom Kampala at Shs208m rent per month.

The 14-acre luxury building that was opened in May this year is located on Nile Avenue, Yusuf Lule Road. Since its launch, the magnificent Kingdom Kampala Mall has taken the city by storm and is already attracting top clients including corporate companies, civil society organizations, government agencies and ministries.
