The Fair Play initiative program which started on March ,this year climaxed today, Saturday, 7,August at UOC premises.
The program which was organised by UGanda Olympic Committee (UOC) attracted schools which are in good term with UOC and each participants was given T-shirt with a bag plus awarded certificate.
15 schools were present during the closing ceremony and these include; Kibuli SS, Kakungulu memorial, Gayaza High, Mbogo mixed, Kira college Butiiki, Rubaga Girls, Iganga SS, Layibi College, Gulu High,Ntare High, Mary Hill, Ngora High ,Kigulu College, Den Bosco SS and Ocer Campion.
The closing ceremony was attended by Annet Nakamya ,who was the chairperson of the initiative and UOC Secretary General, Beatrice Ayikoru who represented the UOC President, Don Rukare who was on official duty.
“If you don’t want bad things to happen to you ,do not let it happen to some one “, Annet states.
Madam Annet, went on to thank the UOC for their effort to support this program and thanked the media for their coverage.
Ayikoru, while addressing the gatherings, she emphasized the participants to continue showing the spirit of fair play in their community.
