Nakawa Chief Magistrate Rita Kidasa has granted bail to four of the individuals arrested last week during anti-corruption protests.
Faiza Salima, Hamala Edgar, Kanzira Thomas, and Olupot Benard were each released on a UGX 200,000 cash bail and required to provide non-cash sureties of UGX 500,000.
However, Aljab Musingunzi (in a mask), who was also arrested has been denied bail due to inconsistencies in the documents presented regarding his residence.
