FDC Party President Patrick Amuliat Oboi extends sincere gratitude to all the FDC Party leaders of the Great Rwenzururu Kingdom for the exceptionally organized reception and well-attended rally held on Saturday, July 20th 2024, at Kilembe Quarters Playground in Kasese Municipality.
POA noted that special thanks goes to the organizing committee, including the party’s elected leaders, for the roaring success achieved that day.
“We will never forget the cherished moments when we were welcomed by cheering supporters who lined the entire Rwimi-Kasese section of the Fort Portal-Kasese highway, and the glorious reception upon our arrival in Kasese Municipality.” POA stressed.
He recalled the supporters whom the party briefly addressed at Hima, Mubuku, and Rukoki. This was historic, and for a moment, it felt like a wonderful dream. “You made us extremely proud as you disproved our detractors and haters who had previously predicted doom for our beloved party. We believe that with a little more effort, we can restore the glory of the FDC in Kasese.”He noted.
He revealed the party’s program showing that going forward, they call for the unity of their members and supporters as they continue to strive for success in the forthcoming party activities, including the General Elections.
He added that Reconciliation with colleagues with whom they have differences will be key, both at local and national levels and therefore they ask people to focus on building bridges at the local level as they do the same at the national level.
The party encourages it’s supporters to continue the mobilization efforts that have always maintained the greatness of the FDC party.
