As the forum for Democratic Change Party continues to move to different districts engaging the party members in the districts that did not carry out party structure elections, the party Chairman Hon. Jack Sabiiti reiterated his message of reconciliation, emphasizing the need to put all differences behind and move forward as one united people of one Uganda.

While addressing Party leaders from Bunyoro in a meeting held in Hoima City, the FDC chairman together with his team, has disseminated this message throughout all the regions in western Uganda in a bid to create harmony within party members.

The leaders have also collectively agreed to initiate early identification of candidates and make preparations for the 2026 general elections.

It should be noted that the party has been going through internal conflicts that led to the party’s splitting into two factions one being the Katonga faction and the other being the Najjanankumbi faction.

Leaders from the Najjanankumbi side have on several occasions been heard calling for reconciliation with their fellow members so that they can become one family again.
