FDC mourns party member Adam Mulwana

Forum for Democratic Change has expressed sorrow for the death of their party member Adam Mulwana who succumbed to liver complications at his home in Makindye.

Adam Mulwana was known for the song “Toka kwa bala bala that was used in Doctor Besigye’s campaigns in 2016 during the general elections campaigns.

Mulwana has been battling with liver complications since 2013 as he was receiving treatment with hope that he would get better, but unfortunately, the Lord has called him this morning of 13/02/2024.

In the statement from FDC, It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing on of our own, Adam Mulwana, commonly known as “Toka kwa balabala”.

Adam bravely battled the effects of poisoning that affected his liver until he peacefully passed away last night at his home in Makindye.

He will forever be remembered for his iconic song “Toka kwa balabala”, the FDC campaign anthem of 2016. Adam’s contributions to the FDC, the Ugandan music industry, and the struggle for democracy in Uganda will be eternally cherished.

The Party sympathise with the family and the music industry upon the demise of Mulwana, may the Almighty God strengthen and comfort you in this trying moment of grief.

Today, Tuesday February 13th 2024 at 4:00 pm, his body will be brought to the National theater for public to pay their last respect, with burial scheduled for tomorrow at 2:00 pm in Buziranduulu – Luweero.

May his soul rest in eternal peace
