The FDC Mobilization Caravan in Teso led by FDC President Eng. Patrick Oboi Amuriat and Deputy President Ms. Margret Wokuri Madanda emphasized the need for rejuvenating FDC’s presence in Kumi and the entire Teso region.

President, Eng. Patrick Oboi Amuriat (POA), along with his Deputy Ms. Margaret Wokuri Madanda, Deputy TG Fundraising Hon. Moses Attan Okia, and the Special Presidential Envoy for Teso, also Mayor Soroti East Division He Paul Omer, convened a meeting with FDC leaders in Kumi Municipality.

During the meeting at Ajuket in Kanyum county, Kumi District, they urged the people of Kanyum to identify and support FDC candidates at all levels, emphasizing that a win for any FDC candidate is a win for the party.

FDC aims to have ideologically oriented leaders, who have undergone thorough training and equipped with essential skills to mobilize support and serve their country better.

The primary objective of this meeting was to strengthen our party structures and identify potential candidates across all levels in preparation for the 2026 Elections.

While addressing the gathering, the Deputy President expressed gratitude to the people of Kumi for offering FDC their great son, POA, who has demonstrated resilience in providing focused leadership for the party.

It is now the opportune time for them to elect numerous FDC leaders at all levels, thus revitalizing the party’s strength in Kumi and the entirety of Teso.

Looking ahead, as FDC gears up for the 2026 general Elections at all levels. It’s time for Kanyum to find and support candidates who will represent us proudly! They emphasised.
