As Forum for Democratic Change continues with its digital membership registration around the country, the party is set to launch the system in the West Nile so that more new members can register and join the party.

This process which was launched last month is aimed at registering new members to the party, to awaken those who have been inactive, to reassure those who have lost hope, and recruit new members as the party prepares to take over leadership from the NRM.

According to FDC, the registration process is challenged by network problems and some people don’t have smart phones to take on the online registration, but they have availed assistance to help such groups to register.

Currently, the party is yet to launch the digital registration process in the Western Nile region which is to take place on 27/07/2024.

The FDC Deputy President in Northern Uganda Hassan Fungaroo noted that this move is part of the party’s new system set and he has advised that party members must be equipped and trained to replace paper work which takes a lot of time.
