First win for the Red Eagles this season, this was an impressive game for the visitors especially Disani Galiwango, who was the star of the day, he ran rings around the Ankole lions defence creating two goals as they secured a 3-2 win at Luzira Prisons grounds. Goals scored through Hamdan Nsubuga, Frank Kalanda and Daniel Shabena for Express FC whereas Hillary Mukundane and Jude Ssemugabi scored for Mbarara City. This win released pressure from coach George Ssemwogerere who had gone five games without a win.
Express dc on Friday 13 th will play hosting to SC Villa at Wankulukuku.
