FIRE OUTBREAK AT KISUBI GIRLS PRIMARY SCHOOL

Territorial Police at Entebbe is actively investigating a fire outbreak that occurred today, October 25, 2023, at Kisubi Girls Primary School.

The incident was reported to authorities at approximately 8 am and is believed to have initiated in the Primary Four Dormitory where it has destroyed a lot of pupil’s properties.

According to Kampala Metropolitan Police deputy Spokesperson, Luke Oweyesigire. “Swift response from the Fire Prevention and Rescue Services prevented the fire from spreading further, successfully extinguishing it.

“We are relieved to report that no injuries or loss of life were recorded, as all pupils had safely evacuated the dormitory before the fire ignited.

“Regrettably, all items within the dormitory were lost in the blaze. The exact cause of this fire remains unknown at this time.

“Our dedicated team of investigators is diligently working to uncover the circumstances leading to this incident. We are committed to establishing the precise cause and ensuring the safety and security of our educational institutions.
