The first lady who doubles as the minister of Education and Sports has held a meeting with the Association of Secondary School Headteachers of Uganda (ASSHU) team of leaders and discussed many issue concerning education sector, as she tweeted on her tweeter handle that:
“In a recent discussion with the Association of Secondary School Headteachers of Uganda (ASSHU)’s executive team, we explored their triumphs and trials in leading our nation’s secondary schools.
“Despite the overwhelming task of improving all schools, we are determined to succeed with the support of ASSHU. We aim to uplift every school in the country, a goal requiring headteachers to shift their attitudes.
“I have faith in ASSHU to drive this change. Headteachers can greatly influence our youth, and their selfless service can spur significant progress. Our children must understand that our nation’s advancement relies on our collective effort.
“Despite budget constraints, I urge ASSHU to implement the new Lower Secondary Curriculum effectively. Furthermore, we’re working to provide more educational resources to schools.
“Let’s celebrate our achievements while facing our challenges head-on. The combined efforts of our dedicated headteachers can drive Uganda’s swift growth. “she commends
