The fortebet real stars monthly awards for the month of May is set for next week at the venue not yet confirmed.
This time only five sports disciplines will be awarded for the best personality of the month of May and the winners will walk away with accolades and cash money.
The sports disciplines which will be awarded and their nominees include;
FOOTBALL
The three nominees this category are; Milton Karisa of Vipers for helping Vipers to defend the League title, Simon Tamale goalkeeper of Maroons FC who kept 17 clean sheets in the just concluded Uganda Premier season and Paul Mucureez of Kitara who scored a vital goal which helped Kitara to win Big League title.
RALLY
Yasin Nasser and his navigator Ali Katumba, Duncan Mubiru and Joseph Bongole and Byron Rugomoka and Hakim Mawanda are the nominees for the rally category upon their good performance in this year’s Pearl of Uganda Rally.
RUGBY
The three nominees for this category are, Moses Zziwa of Pirates, Ivan Kabagambe of Pirates and Ivan Magomu of Pirates for the shown during their gomes player last month which helped the club to the league title.
BASKETBALL
Carmelo Amis Saidi of KIU, a former Nam Blizz player, Innocent Ochera of Power and Sarah Ageno of JT Jaguars for their fantastic performance in the league last month.
NETBALL
Veteran Rachael Nanyonga of NIC, is favourite to win this category for the brilliant performance that helped her club to win East African netball club championship last month, others include; Gloria Aya of NIC and Stella Nanfuka of Prisons.
