New Uganda Premier League side Kitara FC have officially unveiled former Vipers Midfielder Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye as their first signing.
Zaga has joined Kitara on a one year contract until 2024 and he was officially unveiled on Monday 10 July 2023.
“Frank ‘Zaga’ Tumwesigye is officially a Kitara football player after agreeing and appending his signature on a year long contract, reads a statement from the club.
“The exciting midfielder will don the Royals colors until July, 2024 and Hoima will be his new home town”

Zaga, as commonly known by his peers joins Kitara as a free agent, after ending his spell with Vipers last month.
Zaga failed to establish his name at the club on his return as he was affected by injuries.
At Kitara, he becomes the first signing at the club in the ongoing transfer window.
He will be seeking to resurrect his career, at a side that is returning back to the UPL.
Previously, Zaga had stints at Express and Police before he returned to Vipers in the past seasons.
The club has already confirmed the departure of 16 players including midfielder Moses Sseruyide.
Kitara, who are under the stewardship of Brian Ssenyondo are seeking to assemble a more competitive side on their return to the top flight next season.
