Former Bright Stars fc coach Fred Kajjoba is set to join Mbarara city fc.
Fred who was recently relieved of duties at Matugga based side Bright stars fc after seeing off his employment contract. He joined Bright stars from Simba fc where he won Uganda Cup trophy five years ago and guided B,Stars to the 2018/2019 Uganda cup final which they lost 5-4 on penalties to Proline after 1-1 all draw in the 90 minutes . The former Uganda Cranes goal keeping coach Kajjoba will be replacing Livingston Mbabazi at the Ankole lions who threw in towel the before rejoining West Nile outfit Onduparaka fc.
According to the information coming from Mbarara shows that talks have been held in Kampala with the decorated coach but the issue of back room staff is the one hindering the deal.
Mbarara city finish 8th with 42 points last season.
