The group stage of 16 Bika teams touched it’s conclusion with Mbogo, Mpindi and Ngonge clan was the best performers of the round with sailed them to the Quarterfinal.

All teams topped their groups with 7 points with Mbogo came up with the most goals scored over three games of the round.
Thought they got a walk over from Nyonyi Ndiisa it was also just a prediction of how many they would have managed to score if it wouldn’t have been much than 3.

By beating Njaza 2-0 and a 3-3 drama against Ngeye, Mbogo Clan through players like Nelson Ssenkatuka, and Ronald Nyanzi was already indicated their scoring credit by netting 5 times in two games replicating their round of 32 return leg game which brought them to group stage and lie in group C. Mbogo finished with 8 points, 8 goals while conceding 3

Like as losing finalists of last season Mbogo, winning finalist Ngonge also marked with good performance despite not doing much.

In a row of defending the trophy Ngonge has been hard to breakdown conceded only 1 goals through their defensive carbine which is been high marked with Peter Ssenkungu and Mahad Kabogoza Partnership.

On they it is where the built on to win two times by 1-0 over Mbamba Kakokoboza with a late goal by Ronald Ssekiganda and over Nvuma with a second half goal scored by Richard Sonko having started their group stage campaign with a 1-1 draw against Lugave.

Mamba Kakoboza finished second after upsetting Lugave with a 2-1 win with Brian Mululi and Warren Bbule scoring while Brian Nkuubi scored for Lugave.
In group B stage Mpindi had get into the two finalists performance wise to manage passing the level where they failed to go through last season.

This time after rectifying the got on form by beating Mutima Musagi thanks to Brian Majwega’s goal of the group stage opening game, in game two they struggled to a 0-0 goal and raised the bars in the closing game of the stage by beating Nyonyi Nyange 2-0 with Majwega returning to score sheet joined by Yusuf Ssaka in last game of group B which they topped with 7 points scoring 3 times and concedes 0 while finishing ahead of Mutima Musagi who collected 6 points in group B as the become the second best scoring team of the stage with 5 from 3 games the same number as Ngeye who also finished second in group C behind Mbogo FC.
Ngeye ended their group with a 1-1 draw against Njaza.
Charles Ssebutinde netted for Ngeye while Ivan Kalyowa was on target for Njaza.
Ngambi Nsamba was another group Leader leading group D with five points from the most competitive group which hard Nkima who also qualified with 5 points and Nte which finished with 4 points.
On the last games of the group Peter Lwasa guided Nte to a 2-0 win over Nsenene but they were stopped by Nsamba and Nkima goalless draw .
Both Nkima and Ngabi Nsamba walkend into game tied on 4 points in the advantage to progress to the Quarterfinal and it brought discontention to Nte FC and their treasurer Lwasampijja Lamvic Musoke was complaining heart brokenly over an incidence and also complained over referees from Nkima clan their group mates to be on charge of their games.

Having completed the group stage which had majority games at Kawanda SS and Wakisha research center Quarterfinal fixtures was confirmed with Ngonge facing Nkima clan, Mbogo will be playing Mutima Musagi, Ngabi Nsamba taking on Mamba Kakokoboza and Mpindi will face Ngeye as the semi final fixtures are also designed with Mpindi and Ngeye are in defending champion’s line who has to first stop Nkima FC while Ngabi Nsamba and Mamba Kakokoboza in line with Mbogo and Mutima Musagi
