The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) will hold the 95th Ordinary Assembly in the West Nile district of Adjumani on Saturday, September 28, 2019.

This congress shall be attended by all the representatives of the football family from the 32 member associations that make up FUFA except Fred Tamale and Kizito Lawrence, Football player’s Association, Sserunjogi Jeff and Ayub Khalifan, Schools. Kalanda Ismael Buganda and Sserunjogi Robert from Kampala region.

The 95th Ordinary General Assembly has today passed many resolutions including that of reducing one of the directly elected delegate slot from the region and allocate it for a female region representative, this had caused misunderstandings among members until the house went for voting on it where the executive emerged victorious as only 8 of 68 people who participated in the voting opposed the motion, now after the 2021 Fufa election women representation at Fufa Assembly will be increased by eight new slots.

Other motions passed include:

A 32 billion Uganda shillings budget for 2020.

A 1.5 million Uganda shillings quarterly support to the delegates which totals to 528 millions annually to enable the to supervise well the development of the game in their regions.

A budget of 120,000 US Dollars passed to facilitate the deal for th he Fufa National Beach Soccer pitch at Aero Beach Entebbe which is expected to host the 2020 AFCON Beach Soccer championship.

Fufa November this will acquire medical insurance for its delegates, Exco Members and Staff as well as maternal insurance for its female employees.

Fufa will also insure 25 players for each of the 16 premier league clubs as well as Junior team players.

Fufa has been also granted permission to to look for and acquire a fully furnished hotel in Kampala to manage in order to minimise the National teams hotels expenditures.

New members were also adopted ( Proline Fc, Kyetume FC and Wakiso Giants FC) among others.
