The 2019/20 FUFA Big League season will commence on Thursday 17th October 2019. This was confirmed after the fixtures were officially released by fcd .
This season’s Big league will have only 18 teams, nine in each pool that is the Rwenzori and the Elgon groups.
The Elgon Group comprises of Paidha Black Angels, Kataka FC, Katwe United, Light SSS, Kiboga Young, MYDA, Doves All Stars, Bukedea Town Council and Saviours FC.
The Rwenzori Group is made up of Ndejje University, Nyamityobora FC, Kitara FC, New Villa, Water FC, Kabale Sharp (Kigezi Homeboyz), Dove FC, UPDF FC and Kansai Plascon.
The best placed team in each group will automatically qualify to join the topflight league and will be joined by one other team from the play offs.
The first round will climax on Thursday 14th November.
