In yet another twist of events surrounding the world cup tickets saga is the news emerging from Mengo that the FUFA CEO Mr. Edgar Watson has rendered in his resignation to the Fifa Secretariat.
This has happened just four days after former Fufa president Eng. Moses Magogo has announced his suspension from football governing top position pending Fifa investigations over alleged 2014 world cup tickets mishandling.
According to the sources, Mr. Edgar’s resignation may also be attacked to the same issue, being that he was in that office when that tickets offence was being committed.
When Mr. Magogo was delivering his step aside communication to the delegates referred to him being blamed for nothing instead would be the secretariat to blame of which Edgar has headed for 10 years now because for him he just followed the same system used for 2006 Germany and 2010 South Africa world cup tickets.
The other news are suspecting Edgar to be preparing himself for one of the top football political position as Fufa is expected to conduct an Executive committee election if Mr. Magogo fails to overcome that Fifa corruption prob, even though Mr. Edgar denies this information.
Mr. Edgar through his Twitter, denied the information of his resignation.
“Dear stakeholders, I have seen incorrect information sirculating on main media and social media, I wish to state that am still doing my work as CEO at Fufa, please disregard the information ,” Edgar Watson Twitted
