FUFA partner with Government, UEFA to help street kids gain football skills:

The local football governing body FUFA has partnership with the European football Association (UEFA) in a bid to squire the children living on streets in Uganda with football skills.

The project is supported by the Government of Uganda through the ministry of Gender, labour and social Affairs. In a bid to get necessary skills FUFA and UEFA have organised a training course which started on Tuesday at FUFA technical centre njeru.


The course that attracted 22 coaches from across the country is conducted by UEFA coach instructor Hesterine De Reus assisted by Liebeth Migchelsen all from Netherlands.
Ronnier Kalema who Coordinates the course on behalf of FUFA said,” that the course is aimed at straining those who will handle the children.

The UEFA instructor group are here to train those who will acquire the skills on how to handle kids from the street on due with football skills,” added.

Kalema is the chairman Uganda football Referees association. The week long course will climax with the official launch of the project.
