The 2019 FUFA Super Eight football tournament will kickoff on July 27th and ends on 24thAugust 2019 as confirmed by the organizers. On this day the tournament will kick off with a match between Mbarara City FC and URA FC at Kakyeka stadium in Mbarara.
Defending champions KCCA FC start their title defense away to newly promoted premier league side Wakiso Giants at Sekabaka Kyabaggu stadium Wakissha Resource center in Wakiso town on 1st August .
The games are played on knockout basis, in case of a draw in 90 minutes, there will be no extra time the game shall go direct into penalty shoot out to determine the winner.
The winning team will receive shs 20 million, runners up shs 12 million, third-placed team shs 10 million and fourth shs 8 million. The fifth to eight teams will receive shs 5 million, shs 4 million and shs 3 million respectively.
Onduparaka will play host to Tooro United on 4th August in Arua.
While Vipers sc will be playing Uganda cup champions Proline FC on 30th July at KCCA stadium Lugogo. .
KCCA FC won this champions last year after beating Onduparaka FC in the finals played at Mteesa II stadium Wankulukuku.
