Simon Gitta to take charge of Buddu against Kyadondo as Dunga and other coaches serving suspensions

Towards high tensed expected game between Kyadondo and Buddu this Sunday 25 August 2024 at Homesdalen Gayaza.

Masaza cup organising committee through minister of Youth, Sports and arts have posted suspensions on coaches from different teams in the competition.

Buddu, Buwekula, Butambala are the affected teams having tacticians suspended with immediate effect forcing teams entering match Day 8 without head coaches.

For Buddu, head coach Simon Dungu Dunga has been handed a one match ban with fine for his indiscipline activities while his team beating Butambala 1-0 last weekend on August 18.

Therefore Dunga shall sit away from technical area during Kyadondo game forcefully handing over to his assistant Simon Gitta.

“Yeah he has been sidelined for sunday’s game but we shall work together, only that he’s not going to be on the bench”

It is a match which is hard to handle coming at a time where Buddu have been starting to gain momentum in the competition they started on hard note.

The last games on the contest have ended on uncertain ground with Kyadondo walking off in disbelief from the last two meeting.

It is a return leg of the game which ended 1-0 in favour of Buddu at Home in Masaka with goal scored from penalty which was claimed to be not a deserved one by Kyadondo team members.

Entering in the game Kyadondo is at home with all their players available for selection according to reports from the team camp while Buddy shall continue missing Masudi Kafumbe who Missed last game against Butambala.

Butambala is the most hitted team by disciplinary committee with head coach Mustafa Kayinda banned for the remaining of the season and 1 full season while his assistant Hood Mayanja being handed in a two years suspension and commended to meet some fines

Butambala is hosting Bululi on Saturday 24 August 2024 at Kibibi SS with Eddie Ssenkaali  taking charge of the team as head coach for the remaining part of the season.

Those are games of Bulange a group led Bululi on 13 points, followed by Buddu on 11 points, Kyadondo is third with 10 points.

Bugerere who is traveling to Bulemeezi is forth while defending champions is sitting at bottom of the group.

Felix Ssekabuza of Buwekula is the other gaffer to have faced the punishment with one match ban of fine for using improper entrance of the ground while at Mawogola

That means Buwekula will host Kyaggwe with Davis Nono constructing the side.

It is game to decide who is joining Ssingo in quarterfinals from Muganzirwazza as Buwekula holding better chances.

Buwekula is at 12 points in waiting for assurance of more 3 points and goals from Mawogola game which ended prematurely with Mawogola taking responsibilities.

In the same group Ssingo is at home hosting Kooki at Mityana Ssaza ground as they target to extend their accurate form at home.

Ssingo has so far played 3 games at home and won all of them, the fourth is coming at vibe time with the team managed to pick a much deserved narrow win over Kyaggwe, followed by a successful fundraising drive.

A win shall take the competition’s best team to 20 points from 8 games while Kooki is targeting to stay better than the record champions who shall battle with Mawogola at Kabulasoke.

It is on bad note that Mawogola is entering a game which may start the streak of 4 or 3 games off their home have given a two match ban from host matches at their home.

In other groups Busiro is targeting for the first home win of the 2024 campaign as they welcome Kabula  as Both teams having all players available.

As Busiro hosting shinning side Kabula on Sunday 25 August 2024, Busujju will host Ssese a day before while Mawokota shall be welcoming Buvuma on Sunday.

Games shall come to action at 3 and 4pm at charges of 10,000/= and 20,000/= for entrance with tickets at main entrances.
