Heavy rainfall affects SLUA’s last training as they prepare for YMCA

Last season finalist St Lawrence university are set to face YMCA at Buwambo on Wednesday 3rd March but they couldn’t go to last minute of there final preparation of the game.

The University head coach Devis Nono confirmed the affections led by heavy rainfall. Despite that the tactician has shown the readiness of his team to handle YMCA though they to miss the services of Frank Nsubuga, Tabu Oryem and Umar Kakembo who will go for last assessment.

“My team is ready though our last training got affected by heavy rainfall but we can handle them, I know they are a very good team, they are aggressive but we will handle them our way” St Lawrence university is proposed to be the most entertaining team in the University football league and they seek their captain Ibrahim Kasule aka Owen Baba to lift the to a second win of the season in two games.

This is a good time for YMCA to revenge to what happened to them last season when SLAU eliminated them from the championship on quarter final round.

St Lawrence are on top of group D since they defeated Bishop Stuart 4-1 in the season opener while YMCA won their last game against Makerere University business school(MUBS) 2-1 in their season opener and they sit second behind SLAU.
