Here are the seven countries with most AFCON titles

As the whole of the African continent is warming up for the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) which will begin tomorrow January 13, 2024, Sporting Tribune gives a chart to show our followers the African countries with the highest Africa Cup of Nations titles.

Data shows that Egypt has the highest number of titles with (Seven) titles since AFCON began in 1957, 1959, 1986, 1998, 2006, 2008, 2010.

Cameroon is trailing behind with (Five) titles, 1984, 1988, 2000, 2002, and 2017.

Ghana is the next to win (Four) times, 1963, 1965, 1978, 1982.

Nigeria has won it (Three) times, 1980, 1994, and 2013.

Ivory Coast with (Two) times 1992, 2015.

Algeria also (Two) times in 1990, and 2019

While DR. Congo also won (tWO) times in 1968, and 1974.

Who is going to win it this time around? Who has the perfect team to make it to the final and eventually be crowned African champion of 2024?
