Ahead of His 30th Anniversary coronation celebrations, His Majesty the King of Buganda Ronald Muwenda Mutebi the II has commended the Buganda land board together with the Chinese Guoji group for fulfilling the dream of constructing houses for medium income earners, as it will help such people to access nice houses at affordable houses.
He noted this as he was officially opening these houses in Sentema Busiro county, and he arged all funders to join Buganda kingdom engage in development projects for the people.
He called upon all those who will buy these houses to take good care of the them and fulfill all the conditions agreed upon with in the contract so that they can stay in well maintained residences.
The King appealed to leaders to avail comfortable residences to their subjects as everyone has a right to access comfortable residences.
He commended Wakiso district Chairman Matia Lwanga Bwanika and the entire Wakiso district staff, for fighting to preserve the environment and arged them to make efforts to construct nice houses for the people in Wakiso to improve on their well-being.
He as well commended Ssebwana and his committee together with the Chairman for the Buganda land board Owek. Martin Kasekende and his team for the great work exploited towards the completion of this project.
He appreciated the special gifts called Amakula given to him from Busiro people, and commended the supreme for Wakiso district Sheik Kasim Ssengonzi for the great teaching to the people on this function.
The Buganda Prime Minister Owek Charles Peter Mayiga has warmly welcomed His Majesty the King in Busiro and commended the people of Busiro for the warm welcome.
He said the act of the King launching these houses is a call to people to improve on their housing and make sure that their families live comfortably in county.
Owek. Mayiga has urged people to maintain hygiene in their homes through maintaining general cleanliness for the good of their lives.
He has revealed to the king that Busiro county is enriched with opportunities thereby calling upon people whole live in Busiro to work towards development. He challenged the Uganda roads Authority to work towards roads development in the area for the roads to get to the standards of the houses that the king has launched.
Assistant country Manager of Guoji group company Uganda subsidiary, Antoni Twi has commended Buganda Kingdom for the 9 years partnership and pledged to continue partnering with the kingdom to launch more and more affordable projects in Uganda.
