IS MUGERWA , THE RIGHT MAN TO COACH POLICE FC IN THE TOP TIER NEXT SEASON?

With few games left on the FUFA Big League season, Police FC currently leading the table have shown sign of progressing to the the Uganda Premier League next League next season, having earned 44 points from 22 games three a head of Kataka FC who got 41 from 23 games.

The conversation is whether their head coach Simon Peter Mugerwa will still handle the team when progress to the top tier broke up among football pundits. asking whether Mugerwa who have no Super League experience will handle team in the competition that needs a lot of experience to compete favourably and sustain the sutatus.

Mugerwa, is more known in Masaza and Schools football and playing in the top tier may affect the team’s performance.

Despite coach having manager the to promotion after two season in the lower division, the Police FC may look for the services of former KCCA coach, Mike Mutebi who is currently jobless to handle the club in the top tier , coach George Nsimbe, who have experience the club requires is also available for the job.

Other coaches to be looked on, are Steven Bogere, the former SC Villa head coach, UPDF head coach, Plascon FC head coach ,Buddu FC and currently Mawokota FC head coach.

The top 3 teams in the Big League, automatically earn promotion to the UPL.
