ISAAC SSENYANGE Jr TURNS PROFESSIONAL AT 20 YEARS AS ZEBRA MANDO MEMORIAL FIGHTS LAUNCHED

Isaac Ssenyange Jr, the son of the late Zebra Ssenyange ‘Mando’  will on 29, Dec, this year have his debut on the professional stage after quitting the amateur level.

Isaac Jr addressed all this during today’s launching ceremony for the Zebra memorial fights which will take place on 29,Dec at hockey ground, Lugogo.

At the launching which was held at Zebra boxing club, Bwaise, the Uganda professional boxing commission was represented by Simon Katongole (vice president administration), Abbey Mugyai (vice president technical) and Maureen Mulangira Sanita who is also an official from WBC and ABU , Ben Nsubuga from Big bang promotion and Isaac Ssenyange Jr from Zebra’s family and as a fighter.

A total of 13 bouts and 64 rounds will take place on the fights day.

“It was a decision made by my family and my managers to turn professional at this early age” Isaac, states.

Isaac went on to say that he wants to become world champion at early age as Mike Tyson and Mayweather did.

Isaac, who turns 20 years tomorrow will open his professional dream with Alibaba Tarimo on 29,Dec.

Ben Nsubuga, from Big bang promotion argued to all boxing fans to come on big numbers on 29,Dec at hockey ground, Lugogo.

While Maureen Mulangira, official from UPBC said that, the fight have been sanctioned because all measurements needed to organise is fulfilled.

Jeremiah Sserwadda vs Ambokile Mwambasi, Emmanuel Muwanguzi vs Nicholas Tomusange, Isaac Ssenyange Jr vs Alibaba Tarimo, Rogers Semitala vs Ben Nsamba, Rachael Musubika vs Shanita Namukose, Rogers Ssenyondo vs Alex Mwesigwa, Isma Kaye vs Nasir Kalyowa, Moses Katende vs Amos Kelly, Philly Musene vs Mustafa Muloki, Bob Turyatemba vs Charles Johnson, Ezra Ssali vs Rogers Kamulegeya, Baker Sewanyana vs Geofrey Sebyala and Douglas Kalule vs Muhammad Byenkya.

Mercy Mukankusi, the late Mando’s wife and a mother to Isaac Jr and Ben Nsubuga are the event promoter.
