The Uganda Sports Promotion presents Ekibiitu Mawuno on Saturday 10, August 2024 at club obligato with 20 bouts on card.
Three title fights will be held on the day, Med Kabona Sebyala of Uganda will take on Charles Misanjo of Malawi for Global boxing fight (GBF]) International middleweight, 10 rounds which will also be the main fight of the day.
Other title fights will include, Amidu Daku taking on youngster Bob Turyagyenda of sparks boxing academy for National super lightweight title defence 6 rounds and the third one will see Sseruyange Conrad taking on Hassan Were for the vacant national featherweight title that will be contested in10 rounds .
JOSHUA VERY CONFIDENT OF DESTROYING ISAAC
Youngstar Joshua Tusingwire from kawanda under coach Abdullah is very confident of destroying his opponent Isaac Kamoga for the featherweight ,6 rounds contest .
According to Joshua, who have a professional record of 3 fights with 2 wins and 1 loss , addressed the press that after his hard working training under his coach Abdullah, now it’s time to show case his opponent and appeal to all fans especially that side of kawanda, matugga,kawempe and Bwaise to come and support their boy on 10, August, 2024 at club obligato.
Joshua, have a good amateur record after winning juniors and intermediate titles and reaching semi finals of National open after losing to Kyobe Jonah in the featherweight.
Other bouts of the day will see; Magid Kabonge of Uganda vs Jerry Kabongo of Congo for feather weight , 6 rounds contest, Athanas Mgungusi of Tanzania vs Muhumaza Hudson of Uganda, 6 rounds heavyweight contest, Ivan Kambagiri vs Musa Musobya for 6 rounds super welterweight, Ivan Magumba vs Tafu Odoi for 8 rounds super middleweight, Abbasi Seguya vs Muzafaru Kazibwe for 6 rounds welterweight, Miiro Ronald vs Kitaka Ibra for 6 rounds middleweight, Kasujja of Uganda vs David Tshama of DRC for 8 rounds welterweight, Lubega Med, the former bombers will take on Abed Kamba for a 4 round criser weight, Nvule Umar vs Timothy Mwesigye for 4 rounds middle weight.
