The kabaka of Buganda His Majesty Ronald Muwenda Mutebi the II has conveyed His Christmas and end of year message to His subjects in the Kingdom. His message was delivered by the Kingdom spokesperson Owek Israel Kazibwe Kitooke. In this Message, the Kabaka says:

I greet you all. We thank you for all the efforts towards serving Buganda kingdom and Uganda.

We thank the Lord who has protected us until today.

The challenges and victory that we have reached in 2023 should be a foundation to enable us get into 2024 knowing where we are coming from and where we are going. We should stick to whatever we have done and what we are planning to do for the good of Buganda and Uganda, with hope for victory.

We urge you not to give up in whatever you do as God doesn’t forget to stand with people who stick onto the truth and fairness.

We still have a lot to do as far as fighting against betrayal, envy, and other evil acts that are being done by the people with negative intentions towards Buganda kingdom.

We are tasked to strengthen unity among the youth so that they can be able to stand and speak strongly as one on issues concerning Buganda Kingdom within Uganda.

We need to strengthen the partnership system and we are against those who misinterpret such partnerships into being weak.

We commend those serving the kingdom such as the clan leaders, County chiefs, Religious leaders, those serving in Bulange and Mps from Buganda and other regions who understand that speaking about issues concerning Buganda Kingdom is not tribalism but development towards Buganda kingdom and Uganda as a country.

As we prepare for the new year, we caution parents to take good care of children especially during the holiday period so that they can monitor them as they use social media platforms as social media misuse has led to a lot of chaos in the country due to people who use it without being monitored especially among the youth. Parents need to train children about their culture and norms right from homes.

We wish you a merry xmas and a happy new year as you keep pondering about Buganda Kingdom’s future.

The Kabaka of Buganda His Majesty Ronald Muwenda Mutebi the II.
