Kabaka to grace Busiro, Bulemeezi Masaza Cup Final.

The Kabaka of Buganda his Majesty Ronald Muwenda Mutebi will be the chief guest at the 2019 Masaza cup finals, it has been confirmed.

Owek. Henry Ssekabembe, the Buganda minister for youth, sports and Recreation, confirmed the good news during a press briefing held on Tuesday at Bulange.

“I can confirm that this year’s final, as it has been in the past, will be graced by His Majesty Kabaka Mutebi,” Ssekabembe delivered the good news.

It should be noted that traditionally, Kabaka’s consent to appear to his subjects, is seen as a sign of peace, an act that calls celebration.

Bulemeezi will face Busiro in the final at Namboole, set for October 26.

Bulemeezi edged Kyadondo 2-1 on aggregate while Busiro shocked Buddu in the semi final.

Ssekabembe warned fans to behave, as the Kingdom doesn’t entertain any form of hooliganism, to give Kabaka’s presence meaning.

Kabaka also graced the tournament’s opening game at Ssaza grounds in Mityana on June 1, 2019.

Buddu will face Kyadondo in the playoff game at 12:00PM.

The entrance fees are confirmed at Shs 10,000 ordinary, 20,000 VIP and 100,000 VVIP.

The overall winner will take home Sh12M as the losing finalist earning Shs9m while the third and fourth placed teams will get Sh7M and 5M respectively.

The tournament’s topscorer and MVP will earn shs300,000 each.
