Kabale woman Mp Ndamira Atwakire has donated piglets to the people with disabilities as away of encouraging them to work and shape their children’s future and improve on their livelihood as well.
Mdamira who was represented by her political assistant Alex Akampurira, while handing over the piglets to the people with disabilities who live at the cultural and community development building in Kikungiri, southern division, kabale municipality, Mp Ndamira has challenged people with disabilities to endavour working hard to shape their children’s future and improve on livelihood.
This comes at a time when many people with disabilities are found of begging on the streets which make people disrespect them. He encouraged them to work hard for the betterment of their children since disability is not inability.
Akampurira noted that the people with disabilities should carefully look after the piglets and make use them to develop themselves and desist from the begging system.
The beneficiaries commended Mp Ndamira for always thinking about their well being noting, that she donated wheel chairs to them, and maize for their development, without descriminating them.
They added that they have hope that the piglets are going to increase on their income and as well act as a source of manure to their plants.
