KAMPALA CLUB SQUASH CHAMPIONSHIP 2024: KENYAN DALIDI, NJERI PROMISE TO WIN

Kenyan men seed two James Dalidi and female seed four Jane Njeri promised to win this year’s Kampala Club Championships Tournament which started today.

After their arrival at Kampala Squash Club venue, they seemed to be tired after spending two days on the road from Nairobi but were favoured to rest and start tomorrow.

The tournament started today with games, Martin Kabandize taking Martin Fowler, Aliho Monday taking William Byaruhanga ,Lucky Mlilo taking Godwin Coutinho.

The Champion in men category will walk away with 1,200,000 shillings, runners up will walk away with 800,000 and semi finalists each will receive 400,000 while the Women Champion will walk away with 600,000, the runners up with 300,000 and semi finalists each will receive 150,000.

“Last year ,i was runners up but this time, am here to win this tournament”, Kenyan Dalidi states.

” Have trained very hard and i promise Ugandans, a good performance “,Kenyan Njeri states.

Jonathan Mwegamire, a Ugandan Squash star also promise to destroy the Kenyans and the reign of Paul Kadoma.

Meanwhile the first day of conducting SFA refereeing training course went well at Kampala Squash Club venue and according to Dr Lucky Mlilo, the African Squash president and in charge of training participants said that today, they have managed to finish a half of the syllabus and tomorrow, they will finish the syllabus.
