Kampala Queens will be praying for miracles in case they’re to advance to the semifinals. The Queens of Soccer are second on the table with same points (7) with table leaders C.B.E FC, but Kampala Queens completed their group stage games while Buja Queens and C.B.E will play their last games today.

C.B.E FC who are the group leaders, will need a win to top the group however, they can still lose and advance to the semifinals if they avoid a defeat of 3-0 or more against Yei Joint Stars today in the early kickoff.

The Ethiopian giants started the campaign with a narrow 2-1 win over Buja Queens, defeated FAD FC 8-0 in their second game before they played to 1-all draw with Kampala Queens in their last game.

C.B.E will be making it to the semifinals for the third consecutive time and they’re the favorites to win the championship having played and lost the finals to Vihiga Queens in 2021.

Buja Queens will later today be in the action against winless FAD FC and Buja need a win to reach the semifinals for the first time in the tournament.

The champions of Burundi lost 2-1 to C.B.E in their opening game and bounced back with two vital wins beating Kampala Queens 2-1 and Yei Joint Stars 1-0 to increse their hopes of making it to semifnals this year.

Teopister Situma who has three goals in three games and captain Asha Djafari who scored their only and winning goal in the previous game, will be hunting for goals to secure a win for Buja and advance to the last four.

Kampala Queens, will however be in prayers for FAD FC to deny Buja Queens for them to advance to the semifinals or, Yei Joint Stars to beat C.B.E FC with a margin of 3 or more goal difference.

The top two teams from group A will join Vihiga Queens and JKT Queens who have already stormed the semifinals and waiting for the opponents.
