For the second year running, Kansai Plascon Uganda Limited has joined in sponsoring the Buganda Masaza football tournament.
The football tournament which having 18 teams taking part in, Is set to go on this Saturday jubilating for the great package of 100,000,000 Uganda Shillings from the number one paint manufacturers in Uganda.
The partnership which came in activation prior the closing stage of 2022 season confirmed its commence through the company’s managing director Santosh Gumte during the official launch of the tournament at Bulange Mengo.
“As a brand that believes in creating a colourful world for the communities we operate in, we have today invested Ugx 100,000,000 in sponsorship to help Buganda Kingdom’s preparations and plans ahead of the 2024 Masaza Cup tournament,” Santosh revealed.

Gumte revealed that the cooperation with Buganda Kingdom through sports is of a proper path to Kansai Plascon’s targets
“as Plascon Uganda we focused our strategic approach on the investment in sports because it is a unifying power breaking religious or political divides. It is an economic activity both directly and indirectly”
Plascon is Co-sponsoring the Masaza cup on annual basis along with Airtel Uganda, CBS Radio, BBS Telefaina, Pilsner, Nivana Water and Centenary Bank.

Plascon further partner with Masaza Cup participants Buddu despite staying with an open hands for more sponsorship partnerships.
This year’s Masaza cup shall get to action with a tie impacted by Defending Champions Bulemeezi taking on Buluuli at Kasana Stadium in Luweero district on Saturday 22 June 2024.
