Kasujju’s missing car found in Nakuwadde.

Following the thieves breaking into the Buganda chief known as the Kasujju’s home yesterday night and took his car, this car has finally been found around Nakuwadde Bulenga in Wakiso district.

This car, Toyota Harrier No.UBK 650Y which was given to the Kasujju by Buganda kingdom to help him carry on his responsibilities to Kabaka’s people in Busunju, was found in the car parking known as Sigaza mukama day and night parking.

The parking care taker Vincent Nkabigumira explained that he heard about the news for this missing car therefore on seeing the car in the parking, he went to police and reported the details.

Vincent revealed men brought the car early morning claiming that it had got a mechanical problem yet they had to travel. So they wanted to keep it there as they continue with their journey and asked them to keep it safe until they return.

On receiving the news about the car, police immediately went and picked it from the parking. Surprisingly all the labels were scratches off and one of the number plates was removed.

It should be noted that on Sunday 28/01/2024, thugs with pangas and sticks broke into the Kasujju Mark Kaberengo Jjingo’s home located in Zigoti along Mityana road and went away with his service car.
