The new appointed Katambala Hajji Suleiman Magala on Wednesday 13th November 2019 will officially be handed over to the office of Katambala by his predecessor Hajji Lwanyaga.
The function be presided over by the Buganda Kindom Minister in line with the Lukiiko affairs and Kingdom Spokesperson Owek. Noah Kiyimba at Ssaza headquarters in Kabasanda.
The function is expected to be held at exactly 10:00AM and will also see other Butambala local chiefs being instituted into their respective offices.

Hajji Magala on Monday met the Buganda Kingdom local chiefs of Butambala at Bulo Sub-county headquarters where he chaired a meeting and briefed them about the Katikiro of Buganda’s visit to Butambala and many other issues.
Katambala Hajji Suleiman Magala 44 years is a fifth born child of Hajji Yusuf Magala and Hajat Madinah Magala of Kibibi Butambala.
He has been the first deputy to the out going Katambala for the last three years.
He is the current chairman of Bika bya Baganda football tournament organising committee.
Haji is teacher by professional.
He is the proprietor of Kibibi Muslim SS Butambala as well as the head teacher and also the director Muteesa I Junior School Zirobwe Bulemeezi .
