The Buganda Premier Owek Charles Peter Mayiga has praised the commitment and the efforts Eng. Hubert Robert Kibuuka expressed during the period of fighting to protect and maintain Buganda kingdom prestige.
He mentioned this while he joined other mourners for a service, thanking God for the life of Eng Hubert Kibuuka which took place at Christ the king church in kampala.
Katikkiro stressed that Eng. Kibuuka worked hard towards serving Buganda Kingdom and that’s why the Buganda King His Majesty Ronald Muwenda Mutebi II appreciated his efforts with precious stone.
Eng. Kibuuka was one of the people who initiated the Buganda kingdom departments such as Bicul, CBS radio, BuCADEF, among others.
Owek Joyce Nabbosa Sebugwaawo commended him for loving his king whole heartedly and his Ndiga clan as well.
On behalf of the Engineers, former minister for works Hon. John Nasasira praised the late Kibuuka for working hard for the good of his country and was doing his work accurately and professionally.
The second Vicar General of Kampala diocese Msgr Kalumba stressed that the country has lost an expert and his absence will greatly be felt.
The late Hubert Kibuuka will be buried on Friday, 22th September 2023 at Nabitalo village in Kiwenda Busukuma sub-county Kyadondo Wakiso district.
