Katwe utd FC suffered to another Fufa Big League defeat when they were beaten 2-0 by Elgon table leaders MYDA FC.

MYDA scored two first half goals through striker Ibrahim Nsimbe who netted a brace in the 8th and 33rd minute game.

Katwe were reduced to 10-men after goalkeeper Eric Dhaira was sent off for violent conduct on the match official soon after conceding the second goal.

Katwe United have suffered three successive defeats and sit second from bottom with four points collected from five games.

Hon. Allan Ssewanyana owned side “The Tulibanyivu” lost to Dove All Stars FC 4-1 at home before Bukedea Town Council 2-1 away defeat on Thursday in Allan Kabonge’s first game in charge as head coach.

Elsewhere, Richard Makumbi’s Kiboga Young drew 1-1 against Kataka FC in Mbale and are now second with eight points from five games.

On form striker Okori Luuka gave Kiboga the lead in nine minutes but Kahande Tifu equalised for Kataka moments before the halftime break.

Bukedea Town Council were 1-0 winners over Light SSS in Soroti courtesy of John Paul Otim’s own goal in the 30th minute.

In the Rwenzori Group, Kitara FC came from a goal down to secure a point as setled to a one-all draw against leaders Ndejje University in Hoima.

The Ndejje Lions took the lead through Sula Tumusiime but Godfrey Abigaba “Mafresh” levelled matters for the home side in the closing minutes of the encounter.

Ndejje top the Rwenzori Group table with 11 points while Kitara are third with nine points from five games.

Kigezi Homeboyz edged New Villa 1-0 in Kabale thanks to a first half goal from Dickson Niwamanya.

Water FC registered their first win of the season after defeating fellow strugglers Dove FC 1-0 at Luzira Prisons Grounds.

Dove FC who recently fired their head coach Paddy Kakande are now on the bottom of the table with only two points.

The FUFA Big League will resume on Monday 4th November with two games from both groups.

Paidha Black Angels host Saviours FC in Zombo while UPDF and Kansai Plascon will face off in a repeat of last season’s play off semi final in Bombo.
