KAWEMPE DIVISION MAYOR DR. EMMANUEL SERUNJOGI, KIBUUKA BAGS IN BOXER’S LEGENDARY ASSOCIATION

Legendary Boxing Association Uganda Limited (LBAU),  a group formed by former Ugandan boxers who excelled during the 80’s and 90’s. The meeting which was organised today at Tawfiir resturant in new taxi park,  excellent boxers who made Uganda proud like Ayub Kalule,  Charles Lubulwa,  Siriya Kibbe,  Deo Wanana,  John Kakooza,  Busingye Cuban,  Charles Kasumba ‘China’ and John Kakooza.

There was a fundraising for the legend Ayub Kalule from his fellow boxers where they collected some good money for one of the best Ugandan boxer ever.

The meeting was also attended by Kawempe mayor Dr. Emmanuel Sserunjogi donated 500,000 shillings to the ex-boxers association. Sserunjogi,  who was a bag boy for the boxers during the 80’s and 90’s went on to say that it’s now time to put government on pressure to do something to our legendary boxers who made Uganda proud  and since the association have been formed, so i will lead you to every big offices in Uganda.

Adam Kibuka,  another former boxer who fought for Kololo High School also gave the association 500, 000 shiling , he said that since i heard about the association, i said to myself that i have to do something inorder to help my fellow boxers.

The association received their certificates and now aim to get their office in the areas of Bwaise and so far,  Musa Mpiima is the acting chairman and Charles Kasumba ‘China’ is the publicity.
