Mansur Ssemanda popularly known as King Saha has today, Tuesday 26th September 2023 requested for a battle concert between him and BET award winner, Edrissa Musuuza aka Eddie Kenzo. Saha suggested this while at his residence in Nakawuka.
It seems like there are several musicians in Uganda who were left enthralled by the battle between Sheebah Karungi and Cindy. Now each musician is coming out to dare another singer that they feel they are better than.
King Saha who has dared Kenzo to head to head battle, saying if it requires him to call off his upcoming concert he can do it because he is set and ready. He adds that everything is paid and the venue so if eddy Kenzo accepts lets do it now.
Apparently when Kenzo was asked about the prospect of a music battle some weeks ago, he said that no one in Uganda can manage him.
On the same event King Saha has given a car to his long music friend, sky soldier. He says, they have travelled a long journey and they used to help each other so that’s why he decided to offer him a car.
And if it was to happen, he wants a neutral ground probably like in Ghana. Apparently the Big Talent boss is a big hit in several west African countries and this would be simple for him.
However according to Saha, he’s not afraid of the Balipila Boda singer. In fact he said that he’s ready anytime the federation’s president gives a green light and they can go to Ghana.
The Zakayo singer added that no one is above others and if Kenzo feels that way, then they should settle it out head to head musically.
Meanwhile several singers are still coming out to dare those that they want to tussle it out with. Catherine Kusasira dared Bobi Wine while Maureen Nantume dared Mesach or Kusasira
It should be note that the industry have had music battles previously like that involved Bobi Wine and Bebe Cool and the recent that happened on Friday15th September 2023 which seen Cindy and Sheebah battling Musically at Kololo. Which seem to created the urge for music battles among many Ugandan artists.
But the question is of what importance do these battles impact on the country’s Music industry?
