Wakiso Giants Vs KCCA FC @ 4PM
Wakiso Giants new coach Kefa Kisala will aim to get off the mark when his side face KCCA FC in the last quarter final in the 2019 FUFA Pilsner Super eight encounter.
The Purple Sharks, promoted from the Big League will host UPL defending champions KCCA FC at Wakisha Resource centre’s Kyabaggu Stadium on Tuesday.
KCCA FC is an organised team when your given a chance to play a better team, you must also show what you have. Wakiso is prepared for tTuesday batle against CECAFA champion in Plisner Super 8 quarter final to be played at Ssekabaka Kyabaggu stadium Wakiso at 4pm.
Kisala will be having his first competitive game in charge since replacing Ibrahim Kirya as Wakiso Giants head coach.
“As Wakiso, we are set and ready for this game” Kisala noted, while speaking on Monday at the pre-match press conference at Kati kati in Kampala.
“We started our training early enough and we are not just going to participate but to compete, so it is going to be an entertaining game.”
KCCA FC are the defending champions of the Super eight after beating Onduparaka in the inaugural edition. Mike Mutebi’s charges will go all out to avoid a shocking exit.
News signing Erisa Ssekisambu will not feature in this game according to coach Mike, he is still undergo some lectures at the club to shape him and the players who feature for the Cranes he insisted that he will try to use his who won CECAFA.
The last meeting between the two coaches saw Kisala beat Mutebi 3-2 in December last year, then, Kisala was at Express.
The two teams have met twice, KCCA beat Wakiso 2-0 in the Philip Omondi tournament while the other was a 1-1 all draw in the friendly again at Lugogo.
