Kitara football club has completed the signing of Kabon Living on a year long employment contract.

The exciting play maker whose two years spell with Uganda Revenue Authority football club came to an end in June decided to find a new challenge elsewhere.

The left-footed attacking midfielder started his career with Bugoigo Leopards in Buliisa district before
moving to West Nile to Paidha Black Angels and later Onduparaka FC where he finally had a breakthrough.

It was with the Caterpillars where he impressed many fans and also attracted interest from other teams with his tenacity and offensive abilities.

During the 2020/21 season, he managed double figures, scoring eleven goals which were essential in Onduparaka’s Uganda premier league survival mission.

Kabon chose Kitara over other sides and we are excited to add him to our ranks ahead of the new 2023/24 campaign.

He was unveiled by the club deputy chief executive officer, Timothy Kato Adyeri.

The Buliisa born player is delighted to be part of the Royals family and spoke to the club media in an interview.

“Its not a rumor anymore, I am now a Royal and look forward to beginning work straight away with the team.”

He added, “Hoima is my second home because I’ve been here severally. I feel really excited and hope I can add value to my team in the coming season.”

Kabon further spoke about his new teammates whom he believes will not only help him settle in but also compete favorably.

” When you look at the squad, there are players I’ve played with and against plus some young and determined ones. I played with Nyakoojo, Senkaaba while I have faced Mucureezi, Zaga, Aheebwa among others. It’s a good thing you know.”

He brings loads of quality, experience and determination with him, ingredients that will be very important both in the dressing room and on the field of play for Kitara in the top flight.
