After the successful week 6 of the boxing champions league which is sponsored by sting, week 7 is stagged this Saturday with 16 bouts on the day at TLC, Kamwokya.The main bout of the day will see former number one in feather weight Jonathan Kyobe will take on Mbazira Eliphazi in feather weight with aim of revenging for the National bombers place. Kyobe who won bronze medal in the last African boxing championship in Maputo, was dropped and Kasim Murungi was taken in place,so he will be in anger of destroying every opponent who comes across inorder to regain his place.

“Am back on the ring to regain my number one feather weight catergory” Jonathan,who commonly known as Jonah, had to say that.

According Grace Namutebi, official from sting, said that boxing champions league is the hottest cake in the country per now and argues Ugandans to come and support the boys on Saturday.

Other fights on the day include; in junior catergory, Jonathan Waswa of Nmugoona will take on Moses Nasasira of Lukanga in light weight,Mwenda Joshua of Sparks vs Julius Lukwago of Lukanga in Light Welter weight, Tony Mutebi of Cobap vs Shamdin Lubega of KCCA in welter, Salmah Ibrahim vs Kisakye Roy of Sparks in Bantam.

In youth catergory, Shafick Matovu of Cobap vs Brian Nkuruziza of Kololo in Bantam, Jonathan Waswa of UPDF vs Shafick Ariatamba of KCCA in Welter, Derrick Kintu of KCCA vs Anwar Byabagambi of Lukanga in Middle, Charles Sekyanzi of Lukanga vs Baker Sewanyana of Zebra in special contest, Akram Lutwama of EastCoast vs Benard Mukwaya of Lukanga in feather, Frank Mawanda of Lukanga vs Badru Kawooya of Namugoona in Light Welter.

In Elite catergory; Shakira Nantongo of Lukanga vs Mariam Sultan of Katwe in fly, Jimmy Adriko of KCCA vs Julius Kaddu of Katabi in Light , Benjamin Mukisa of Sparks vs Abdul Shantal of UPDF in Minimum weight, Medi Lubega of Lukanga vs Emmanuel Tabule of Sparks in Heavy and former welter number one Owen Kibira of Lukanga vs Muhammed Kawooya Ali of Sparks.
